Jerry Pollard Pine Forest

Jerry Pollard grew up in Cocoa and was always passionate about football and baseball.  He was a two-sport athlete at Anderson University (Ind.) – a NAIA school at the time – playing tight end and linebacker for the football team, as well as first base and left field for baseball.

Pollard began as an assistant at Pine Forest in 1985.  When he first got to Pine Forest he spent three years on Carl Madison’s staff.  He was on the staff for Pine Forest’s 1987 state championship team, 1988 state/national champion team, the 2000 state championship team and the 2006 state runner-up team.  He was the head coach at Pine Forest from 1989-2016.  He's the longest-tenured coach, teacher or admin in Pine Forest history.
