ESPN broadcasts top high school football games every year. I would think that Florida State Championship games would meet that criteria, especially the upper division games.

They broadcast games that have huge amounts of ESPN 300 players on it because it gives ESPN a chance to hype up their rankings

Unless SFL teams are able to participate than it's highly unlikely there will be enough teams with a high count of those ESPN 300 players for ESPN to have any interest in broadcasting

The games that I have watched on ESPN usually focused on one or two 5 star players, or on a "so-called" top ten national team, like Bishop Gorman, St Thomas Aquinas, etc. I saw a team from DC area treat MC (supposedly a SF powerhouse) like a middle school team this past season on ESPN; how big a TV draw could that have been?. I think the prospect of having the state championships from one of the country's hotbeds for high school football would be better than an evening of MAC Conference games in the middle of the week, such as Buffalo vs Western Michigan. We'll never know if ESPN would be interested unless the FHSAA takes some initiative.

Some of the games ESPN has featured over the years have been downright terrible.  If there was money to be made featuring the state finals from a state like Texas or Florida and they could pull it off, I am sure they would already be doing it.  ESPN clearly has a certain marketing strategy for showing the hs games they do.

SFA was more loaded than IMG, not surprised they beat Miami Central though I was surprised they did it so handily

But while I guess you have a point I just feel like ESPN would be the type of Network to maybe broadcast 2 games and not all of them

Oh they definitely do, I challenge you to pull up a ESPN broadcast and chart down how many times during the broadcast they mention the ESPN 300 or ESPN star rankings during the broadcast, take 5 games from YouTube and feel free to see it

It becomes clear pretty quick what ESPN is after with these games, it's always about propping up a prospect or team of prospects because there regularly is much better games on deck that they pass up on

    • Buy Azithromycin Online is a handy antibiotic you can buy online to treat specific bacterial infections. It’s great for things like respiratory infections (think coughs and sore throats), skin infections, ear infections, and even some sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia. One cool thing about it is that you usually only need to take it for a short time, usually around five days. Just remember, it’s super important to take the full course even if you start feeling better before it’s done. This helps make sure the infection is completely gone and doesn’t come back stronger. Like with any medication, there can be side effects, like upset stomach or diarrhea, so it’s always good to talk to your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you have any health conditions or are taking other meds. Overall, Azithromycin can be an effective and convenient option for treating bacterial infections when used correctly.
    • Okay, how about that STA vs. Ida Baker matchup in your first round?  Does your analogy extend to South Florida slappies?  My opinion is simply that no one (except CoachGraham, apparently) would be interested in the 1 vs. 512, 2 vs. 511, and 200 other mismatches such a format would produce, regardless of geography.  But I could be wrong.  And now I'm thinking I should have skipped college.
    • Complaining about North Florida slappies losing to South Florida powers is like someone graduating high school complaining that companies are only hiring college graduates and not them. And then a company saying ok to make it fair, we will open division and only hire high school graduates.
