So allen threw for 3 touchdowns against yall. Madison again has a deep defense of line. And o line, we got Robert hiers back would score on Pahokee.  Other capable backs. If rj Williams was QB 1 we could read option Pahokee all night long. Rj runs 4.5. He 6'1 190 strong. He just can't throw well, which i don't understand way. The new QB is better thrower just not big or fast. Two good hits and he is down. I am very surprised at the defense of line lot of talent.  Oline is 270 to 350. Just all under 6'2, which is sad but they will grow.  Dline  is 250-280. Again under 6'2. Will grow.  QB room is low.  Linebackers are 190-200 6'0, secondary 5'8 to 6'3. 160 to 190. Again these kids are growing still.

You brought up WRs. I just stated that if they’re the focus of the offense, we will take that all day. 2 of the TDs came of screen passes behind the LOS, so let’s not go crazy about the MC passing attack. MCs strength is the power-run game, and the fact that none of your linemen have to play both ways. Depth that real 1A teams don’t have.

Heirs may score and we have people who can score on MC as well. We had 3 DL and 3 DE/OLB sign with colleges from last season. So, of course we don’t know what our OL/DL will look like because 1. We haven’t been allowed to practice and 2. We are a true 1A school. Last years graduating class had like 60 kids.

We have small school problems.

Haven't heard anything and I see games have started....

Also I stay in Orlando now so what are some good games to check out this year ??

If Edgewater and Jones is still on, it is a must see game. Schools are less than four miles apart and the kids see it as a real rivalry. Both teams could go deep if there is a playoffs.

Apopka vs Jones is also a good game to watch.

The quality at the better schools is not bad. What the area does not have is the depth of South Florida. If they allow fans Apopka/Jones would be a good game to attend. I will even sport you a ticket if I can get any. Apopka has the potential to be better than they were last year and Jones probably won't miss a beat from the team that played Northwestern tight at Daytona.

It is changing literally every 3 days, but new rumor is Miami GMAC schools and Palm Beach schools are going to opt in now.  This was just being thrown around this weekend in AD circles after the move to phase 2. Still not Broward though.  At this point, I don't think anyone will know until it is officially done or too late.

Like I've said before, no reason to make the decision until you have to make the decision.

    • Here is a tough one. 1980 Gainesville or Tate. Both 13-1 Here is the tape of the tape. Please let me know what you think.    Tale of the tape.    Tate - class 4A only loss was against 8-2 Choctaw by 4 points  beat 12-1 Miami Columbus in the title game 35-7 but the game was in Pensacola. Meaning Columbus had to drive almost 10 hours  Gainesville - class 3A only loss was against 10-1 Palatka by 8 points  beat Titusville 21-0 in the title game on the road in Titusville
    • For 1997 I picked Carol City over Raines. It was tough but CC finished top 5 in the nation according to USAToday. And they played a tougher schedule. It’s tough when you have the top 2 teams both undefeated.
    • Yeah in the 70’s-90’s the debate will most likely be between the top 2 largest class state champs
    • 1976 - Godby HS went 14-0, defeated ledgendary Gene Cox, Leon Lions for the 1st time in school history in its last game of the regular season. Beat a Carol City Team, (that would come back the next year to win the 1977 state title), 21-15 in Lakeland, FL for the 1976 4A title. Two members of that Godby team (Sammy Knight, Chris Hobbs) would then lead FAMU to a upset win over the University of Miami. 1978 - Meritt Island - Beat Carl Madison coached (going to see the name Carl Madison alot through out the 80's),Pine Forrest for the 4A state Title 20-16 and would go on to be repeat state champs winning the 1979 state 4A state title as well, seeing Pine Forrest once again in the Finals 1979 - Merritt Island - Beat Pine Forrest 19-14 1980 - Argument could be made that 3A state Champ Gainesville HS was the states best, as they defeated Titusville on Titusville's home field 21-15, but in the end Carl Madison's (who we'll talk about again in the 80's), Tate HS has to be considered the state best destorying Miami Columbus HS 35-7! 1981 - Again 3A would again have to be where the state's best team played. Palatka after struggling in its 1st round game went on to dominate evenutally winning the state title 42-2 over Suncoast. Unlike Vero Beach (which won the 4A state itle that year), Palatka was loaded with star power, with 2 of its players eventually playing in the NFL (John L Williams, and Jarvis Williams) 1982 - Going 3A once again as Titusville would shutout 3 of its 4 playoff opponents, winning the state title over Osceola 33-0 1983 - 4A Manatee High School goes 14-0 for its 1st state title and the beginning of a dynasty through out the 80's and into the early 90's   more later.......
