championship matchups?

I saw that they did this burgerking state championship series, I was wondering does anyone on this forum think that sometime down the line that they can have the state champions face off against each other to determine one true champion in state of florida

Some folks have floated this idea, but its never going to happen because then you are going to have the smaller schools always getting smashed by the bigger schools. This is the exact reason we have classifications.

yeah but what about big bad booker t Washington, I think they should have had to play someone like say aquinus or Apopka instead of some team from Washington

there are many good teams in florida that they didn't play for them to go play some team from Washington, and also I feel that we should have a state champion playoffs, I don't like having 8 different state champs

I agree with you with the 8 classes.. I honestly believe that the reason they did 8 classes was for teams to have a chance to win state and make money... As far as BTW they play who they play... Or should I say whoever steps up to play... We had 8 state championships really from 4a to 8a.... Every other team could of step up and played them but didn't besides MC which they beat earlier that year.... But I'm pretty sure they would play anybody in the state....

and i dont have a problem with btw, i have a problem with a team being in a state with 8 differnet champs, and one of them being voted national champs, when they dont even play all the champs in their own state or at least a champions playoffs

I agree but they played 3 state champions that year including Miami Central which was obviously the second best team in the state and country IMO... That year Central whoop AHP ass too!

hey they are good I never said they were not, but without a state championship playoffs I don't feel that their should be any type of national championship, now I can see u picking best champs from each state and deciding which is best, but not with 8 in a single state, not fair to a team like aquinus who was good but never got to play them, which would have been fixed with a playoff format, especially with florida, bc 8 is a easy number to handle with a playoff like that

I'm pretty sure if sta never decline to play in the bk bowl I'm pretty sure sta would be playin btw...

yeah, you would have to create a seedings but it could end up being aquinus vs btw in finals of state championship torunement which could go either way in my opinion, but we will never know that bc instead they played some team from Washington even though florida high school football is better then state of Washington, that's a fact that can be proven

ok, but why did florida schools all play out of state teams, why not play the instate teams
