Pahokee still plays up, because they’re the only 1A school south of Ocala. Glades Central, Dillard, Miami Booker-T, Dwyer, and Wellington this season.

Last year Dillard, GC, Chaminade, Jacksonville TC, Dwyer, Seminole Ridge, Raines (cancelled), University school

I've often wondered why Pahokee and Moorehaven aren't rivals in the same district. For some reason Moorehaven wants to be 2a.

That is definitely a murderer's row of teams. For some reason I don't see Pahokee listed in 1A for 2021. Are they now independent or freelance? I even checked 2A and 3A. Can't seem to located them on MaxPreps.

To my knowledge, nothing has changed and they still should be classified as a 1A school. They have a tentative, 8 game schedule set up, but nothing official yet.

I still don't understand this reasoning from the FHSAA... Schools are still doing counts whether online or in person. Why not compare the current numbers to previous years numbers and see how radically they are off. If most schools are within 10% of their numbers (assuming no changes caused by opening of new schools) use the numbers and re-classify. 

Additionally, this is why having classifications based solely on population is idiotic. Use the success and failures of programs to promote and relegate teams and perfect school population counts matter less. Simple example, St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park) just won their 10th straight state championship in girls soccer, finished the season 18-0, gave up 5 goals all season and during the regular season beat the 7A state champion 2-1. What is the point of them staying at 2A? They are obviously better, move their butts up in classification until they face a challenge.

He okay. Pahokee usually have bigger backs, i just don't think Pahokee gonna be healthy in the playoffs.  Tough schedule. Madco running back high other than Miami Central.

He's still a pup, this was his first year playing HS level football. His track season has started off great, so only bigger and better things next season. He was the #3 RB, last year, he should be the #1 this year.

Antone Smith (FSU), Vincent Smith (Michigan), Willie Shazier (Colorado), Kevin Bouie (Miss St/ was the JuCo leading rusher at one point), Rodney McKay, Jatarie Washington (Syracuse), Lavonski Williams (Ark Pine-Bluff). I think we can go back for back with MadCo.

Maybe. Staten the guy who killed yall didn't want to go to famu.  He just dropped out , but his brother who killed yall did go. Derek Staten is a beast, but he want to rap. But yeah Fleming the guy I showed you at Lowndes now is super elite from madison. He would easy break fhsaa record in the state games.

Hmmmmmm. Trinity Christian Jax is now in 2A. IMO they were too powerful for 3A so can't imagine an easier time they will have in 2A. Was looking forward to a rematch with them in 2021. Wonder if we will play them out of district at some time? Hope so.

A championship that doesn't involve beating the best is nothing more than a shiny paperweight despite the fact I'm sure some people on here will come and tell me I'm clueless and know nothing yet a lot of the people on this board have been slacking lately and it shows in their arguments  (don't worry I'm not directing this at you keemd, you are good in my book)

 

It's a shame because this board used to be very good but I usually struggle reading it these days
