All the Miami teams, Cocoa, Jones, Rockledge, Dillard, and so many more. I'm not saying those schools are broke but they definitely don't have an abundance of money.

Them schools rich they travel across the country,  look it up . Nike gear,  TV espn, internet. Nfl players plenty money . NBA players, .

No they ain't, go to those campus before you make claims you can't back up

And yeah they travel across the country but it's third party or host teams paying for their travel, just like when Bishop Gorman paid Central to go out there then paid for their hotel when a hurricane prevented them from returning home immediately

The difference is these SFL programs are actually a big deal unlike Madison so these national powerhouses will pay them to come to them

You do know those schools having sponsorships is nothing like the sponsorships schools in Texas, California and DMV area get. They travel when the opposing team is paying for travel and hotel stay or if ESPN covers it. The Nike and Adidas deals are just a discounted rate on a certain number of uniforms and gear. Why do you think alot of the players who are brought up in the middle of the season for Cocoa don't have the newer jerseys or pants.

Exactly. All of Cocoa's travel and hotels were paid for by the host schools and they still had fundraise to make it to the Freedom bowl and other out of state games. Most of these teams have to fundraise just to get new equipment each year.

And which schools are you talking about because most don't have a practice field that's up to standards, basic weight rooms or just now updating their equipment. You keep throwing out that these teams have money or alums that are in the league. I'm sure Madison has or had players in the league or that well off which can throw money around to help

He keeps talking about these schools getting transfers but Madison gets some too from Suwannee

Just because the transfers they get aren't any good doesn't mean it doesn't happen but it's also because the media in North Florida cover up transfers

Jax TCA is not rich either!!

we had to fundraise as well and still do

trinity has a really small weight room
3 squat racks that are also the bench press stations and a few dumbbells and things!!! they still have the same weights from when I was there 10 years ago ... we don’t have a practice field either just a patch of grass behind the bleachers...

Could have a UC vs MadCo championship.

Nah bradford or Pahokee gonna play madison.  Baker overrated,  extremely overrated.  Hawthorne won't have the numbers or a run game.  Madco has more size in the o line, also plenty of weapons. Bradford pretty good for real.

  • 2 weeks later...

Based on what I saw from Bartram and Columbia neither one at this at this stage is top 25 in the state

I would say both may hover around mid 30s to low 40s by time off-season is complete

For Columbia they showed flashes but the OL needs serious improvement over the off-season as while the pass protection was manageable, the run blocking was atrocious and couldn't create any running lanes

Bartram seemed to lack explosive weapons at the skill positions and seemed to be playing an ATH at QB who could get yards on the ground but passing was touch and go

It's still early but neither looked particularly great tonight
