How much talent do they have coming back from lasts year’s team?

I don't follow Lake Minneola so I can't say what talent will return from this past season, but they will be getting a talented young WR transfer from Winter Park HS. His name is Braylon Knauth and he'll be a 10th grader next Fall. WP hates to lose him, but LM should be very happy. Check him out on Hudl and Twitter.

Did he play Varsity last year or was he on the freshman squad? He's still a bit undersized (short), but has the makings of a good to very good receiver/slot. Looked solid enough on defense as well.

WP played their sophomores sparingly last season, usually midway through the 4th quarter. He was the only freshman that played varsity and usually went in with the sophomores. He was a favorite receiver of my grandson, the sophomore QB, as they teamed up on several TD passes in varsity games. He was expected to be a starter this coming Fall, but family is moving to Lake County. He'll be missed at WP. Both started against Apopka and Dr Phillips in the Spring Jamboree.

They will not play Miami Central in 2022. Not in the same class anymore.

Lake Minneola had a stud QB transfer in last season, but I don't know if he will be there this coming Fall. If he is there, I would expect them to be one of the better teams in their class.

I assume he was the starter that was injured early in the season. If he's still in that part of Lake County, I expect he will stay. LM is the big dog in that neck of the woods. They have replaced East Ridge which used to be the best in that area.

He will not. Braden Davis (South Carolina commit) is returning to Delaware to finish his HS career. He transferred to Lake Minneola after Delaware cancelled their fall season due to COVID.

    • Just wait till spring is over and the top RB in the area will take his talent to 1 Indian Ave.
    • This will be an interesting story to follow.  Venice has no proven RB headed in to spring which will be a first for a long time.  They have produced several Dairy Farmers player of the years in that position.  They also will have a massive offensive line with 2 three year starters who return as well as some stud young kids.  They will probably average around 6'4 295 on the line which is huge for Venice standards.  I just wonder if this will change before the start of the season.  I still fell like someone will show up.
    • Are you still talking to me??  Thought I was pretty clear for you not to waste your breath on this subject matter, but somehow you are missing the point.  Teacher unions have limited power in FL because the candidates they overwhelming support keep losing.  If they had won, the teacher union vote had a lot to do with it and would be wielding that power.  Osceola county which isn't a GOP stronghold during the past two national elections had the journalism students for the OHS monthly newsletter (Kowboy Jake) interview the faculty as to their political leanings.  A sample of about 30 teachers that were interviewed were voting as follows:  25 D vs 5 R.  Enough said.
    • You missed the point of my union post. Teacher unions in strong union states have power. Florida unions have zero. They cant strike and the school board can implement a contract without the unions approval. Florida unions are not preventing any raise in Florida. The state has attacked a straw man here.
