I know I know a lot of schedules are not complete or released yet, but they’re a lot of schedules that are released that have some very intriguing matchups.

so if I had to get the list started these would be the matchups I’m looking forward to.

#1. SFA VS STA ….. if SFA is as anywhere as Good as they were 2 years ago I would love to see the outcome of this game with STA racking up a lot of transfers in this offseason as well.

#2 DILLARD @ ST THOMAS if you’re not at this game atleast 2 hours early you would be lucky to have a parking spot or ticket.

these are two historical school that’s less then 3 miles away from each other, both lead the county in football championships in their respective classes “PRIVATE & PUBLIC”

both schools are in the top 5 in broward county in my opinion, Dillard Will be coming in looking to Boast their resume, Add the community the band & the direction Dillard has been trending in the last two years, you got yourself a MUST SEE.

DEERFIELD @ DILLARD out of the last 5 matchups Dillard Holds a 4-1 edge over Deerfield, the two teams haven’t met since 2017 where Deerfield beach won in dominating fashion, these two schools are rivals, DEERFIELD VS FT LAUDERDALE another standing room only type game.

CHAMINADE MADONA @ DILLARD - granted it’s a KICK OFF classic game but this game here will be a great way to kick off the season.

you have a 3A power house who can compete with the best of them, and you have a 7A powerhouse in Dillard.

add that with Dillard head coach Tyler Tate playing against his former school who he won 4 state titles with, you have yourself a game of the week right there.

iMG VS AHP - Oweeer BOTH teams are loaded both teams are nationally ranked & both teams will be ready!! IMG will be looking for revenge the last time these two teams played AHP shocked img by winning In a nail biter, while the patriots will look to repeat the performance the ascenders will be looking for payback.

BISHOP GORMAN VS MIAMI CENTRAL - the last time these two played was a televised showdown back in 2017 during the erma hurricane, the rockets came out victorious and will be looking to claim victory again this year.

SFA vs STA and Bishop Gorman vs Miami Central... I assume these are televised?  Must see TV.

STA vs SFA is on ESPN as ESPN was initially MNW vs STA was gonna be on ESPN but when MNW backed out ESPN helped STA secure a replacement with the help of a few third party groups

Miami Central vs Bishop Gorman will be televised I don't think it's on ESPN

I see them doing it how they did mainland a series that can keep going depending on how competitive it is.

We will try to uphold our end of the bargain.  You mentioned Coach Burke from the turn of the century when Palm Bay was very strong.  We played them most years back then and it was competitive.

Dang, Miami Central plays St John Bosco *and* Bishop Gorman back to back?  They must feel really good about their team this year.

And I'm guessing the schedule was finalized even before half of the Hallandale defense transferred over to Central.

I wonder how ST John bosco looking this year & which john bosco is it it’s a few good ones but 1 very solid one.

but as many transfers MC got so far it most likely won’t even matter.

SJB is preseason #3 in the national rankings. They have as much talent on their roster as anyone outside of IMG.

    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
    • It's possible that they find their stride by week 5, but at the moment we just don't have the on-paper talent to compete with teams like Miami NW, IMG National, Cocoa, or Bishop Verot. If Venice can find a way to go 7-3 with that schedule I would be happy

    • Just wait till spring is over and the top RB in the area will take his talent to 1 Indian Ave.
    • This will be an interesting story to follow.  Venice has no proven RB headed in to spring which will be a first for a long time.  They have produced several Dairy Farmers player of the years in that position.  They also will have a massive offensive line with 2 three year starters who return as well as some stud young kids.  They will probably average around 6'4 295 on the line which is huge for Venice standards.  I just wonder if this will change before the start of the season.  I still fell like someone will show up.
