7A Immokalee choosing to go Independent, cancels games with local schools

Word in SWFL is that Immokalee has suffered a huge drop in participation and will now be playing as an Independent. They've cancelled most of their local area games and it seems, according to Maxpreps, like they will be playing a slate of much smaller schools than normal.  This is a team with a lengthy history of success, that took AHP to the wire just a few seasons ago- how does this happen?

Sure did. Was at the game. Indians were tough!!!

Wow, talk about a whole different class of opponents. Will be cool for some of their opponents though to say they took on Immokalee.
