Trust me I wouldn't even mine if y'all are victorious against BTW... Wouldn't mine seeing a new champ to rep sfla.... The freshmen Qb for BTW led the county in passing yards and a 20-9 td to int season... That's impressive for a freshmen:.... I know it's hard to win in the muck....

No one has this season. Gulliver did put a huge fight, and as for BTW

quarterback, that is very impressive. I expect a good game out of him this week.

If STA loses 7A, it is due to the injuries they have suffered. The teams with the best chance of taking them, would be Braden River (semi final or third round?) or Columbia in the title game. With that said, STA will still have the best chance of winning. However, like Peezy said, this may be one of the years when they could lose.

braden river would indeed be semifinal game, in our case we just need to focus on getting there, and it starts with lincoln in tallahassee this week

I am not favoring. It is what it is. You know the top 10 teams in Broward, and top 10 teams in Dade are better than Palm Beach top 10? Am I wrong when I say that, or am I "favoring"??

I agree Booker T is no Carol City and Miami Central . Neither is AHD, Oxbridge or Glades Central. Just to put things in perspective AHD AT HOME was handled by Oxbridge 24-7. Glades Central @ AHD was handled 35-19. Oxbridge AT HOME was handled with by Carol City .

I think Atlantic would surely beat Booker T and Oxbridge, AHD, Glades Central , and BTW could all beat each other on given days.

I think Atlantic can play with anybody in Broward and Dade. AHD is down this year. Oxbridge and Dwyer on a good day could compete. But number 5 in Palm Beach is what? Glades Central or Boca Raton? If I put them against #5Hallandale /Flanagan ....please !

Are you judging my team by a silly ranking??? And a 2 Loses???? And you make you teams sound bad say Atlantic can compete with Dade and Broward. I think you look at scores not a game. Atlantic Came inches away from being beaten by Glades Central. There is only one team in Palm Beach county that once own you all in broward. That's Glades Central. Ask Hallendale,Ask American Heritage Plantation, ask Dillard ask Coconut creek, and Cardinal Gibbons. We have some of our best wins against your county and embarrassing ones losses like ely,but that's the past. The future is Glades Central once again being one of the best this state has to offer and also the 4A State Champions. Line up your best teams Handicapper next year, and you'll see what I mean.

Sorry dude. STA, Miami Central, Flanagan, Deerfield Beach, Coral Gables, South Dade, Columbus, AHP, and maybe Hallandale would beat Glades Central like a drum. You have no idea how those nasty Defenses would eat GC offense alive. The physicality is on another level than University School or Gulliver Prep. Beat the top Palm Beach team and than we can talk. Hell beat AHD for starters.....Not for nothing by Hallandale would drop a 70 spot on that Glades Central Defense . You are really on your high horse since allowing 30 points to you last opponent (Gulliver Prep)..

As for all of those wins you HAD. Yes you did. In talking the present though. Others who have talked here about there teams and reference the past usually vanish from the forum ( if you know what I mean ;-) )

Look at ALL of my posts, I actually give lots of credibility to GC and think they have a shot at states but, for now they are not on the level of the Broward and Dade teams that I mentioned. Oh, I forgot Carol City ad well....

You talking to a team who would play and had played St.Thomas Aquinas,Hallendale and American Heritage plantation we are afraid of no team win lose or draw. But our team has mature Alot over the season.

    • Perhaps the best RB in Tampa Bay iin 2023 saw his program close, and is looking for a home. If he stays in the area,Venice is a good bet. (Lakeland may be as well).
    • And if that same newsletter asked the Osceola County Sheriff Department, what do you think the response would be? If you asked, members of the Chamber of Commerce? (Essentially a union of businesses) If you asked a group of nurses? If you asked a group of lawyers? Also a union cares about the working conditions of their members, but the working conditions of teachers are the learning conditions of students as well. People are attracted to careers because of the values that come with those careers. Political Parties attract people based on their values. So it shouldn't be surprising that certain professions attract certain people in certain careers. You act as if the principal's first question when we have a 5,000+ teachers shortage in this state is "who do you vote for? And are you a member of the union?"
    • I feel like y'all are always solid so I don't see y'all going no worse than 7-3. Biggest question mark for Cocoa is their O-line since they are only returning 1 and on the defensive side they only return their blue chip edge in their front 7
    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
    • It's possible that they find their stride by week 5, but at the moment we just don't have the on-paper talent to compete with teams like Miami NW, IMG National, Cocoa, or Bishop Verot. If Venice can find a way to go 7-3 with that schedule I would be happy
