Thoughts and Predictions?

This should be a great game.  Glades Central seems to have really stepped on the Offensive gas the lately and apparently are wanting and hoping to send the young Booker T. team home in a beat down.  Based on what I am hearing from the Muck on this message board Glades Central can play with and are better than almost anybody in the state right now.  If that is very well the case- it sounds like Booker T does not really have any chance.  I'm going to look into this game a little more but for now I am leaning with the Home Team -Glades Central in a 49-38 type game.

Booker T. Washington has had a tough schedule this season. Now granted, the past few years they would have been 10-0 or 9-1 entering the playoffs with this schedule but with a new coach and talent leaving this is what you have 5-5 season entering the playoffs. I wanna say this and I'm not discrediting Glades Central because what their doing this season compared to last is remarkable. I can't pick a winner but just know Glades Central won't run away with this one.

I gotta go with Glades Central with this one... In the beginning of the season after that North Marion game I said BTW should start their freshman and take their lumps throughout the season... The freshman done well this year but I think it stops here.... Glades in a close game because Idk if GC defense sucks for giving up all those points to Gulliver and university or penalties help the other teams out.... The muck boys can answer that for us?

If Glades Central play good football and limited their mistakes GC wins no question. Gulliver Prep was leading at one point against BTW here the thing we lead like 21 pts in the game bring on Avon Park or Cocoa

No they weren't nice try muck lol Gulliver ain't had a chance and the sad thing is I thought they did with some of the studs they have... But how good is Glades Central defense is? Btw the freshmen qb td to int was 20-9....... Not bad for a freshmen?

I heard from some unreliable source that 4 of Cocoa's players are hurt, their top RB and the QB and 2 O-line. Not sure how true it is but if so then Cocoa's chances not looking good.

They have struggled all season against the run game and look good against the pass. Hope they make it to play the winner of Glades Central or BTW.

I'll say this in the 2nd half Gulliver score was 33-7.

Gulliver did have a 14-7 lead on them which turned in to a 20-28 in the half deficit. Gulliver didn't score any more for the rest of the game. Booker t only managed to put up 17 points in the 2nd half.

That's epic for a freshman! And as for our defense. Don't let scores fool you. It's was our defense that scored on American heritage with an interception, our defense held down the so called mighty Atlantic eagles down with only 7points for 3 qtrs before we where worn down ,it was our defense that save us from University with an interception,it was our defense that ran back 2 pick 6s 1 for 80+ yard (with one shoe) on Pahokee, two forced fumbles on Gulliver prep. So I'd say resilient and adaptable would describe our defense. Not something you wanna sleep on

    • If Rockledge keeps their interim coach as the HC after spring they will keep the players they have and continue to get more. They will be a very solid team that will eventually challenge Cocoa as the top in Brevard in a few seasons. Eau Gallie will be scrappy for sure but they did lose key players transferring out and brought in a couple as well. I could see them losing a few games
    • “Knowing that we are committing [rules] violations and nothing is being done set off alarms for me." Quote from the former (as of a week or so ago) baseball coach at the high school in question (in the article at the beginning of this thread).   Admittedly, he was not one of the football coaches, but between he and his wife (who was the principal of the school), they seemed to have a lot of insider information.  Note also, that he uses the word "we," referring to the school he was coaching.  Do I have any direct knowledge of cheating?   Nope.   But when I see this much smoke, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there is some fire burning in there somewhere.
    • For example if Class 1 has 20 teams eligible to move up, but class 2 only has 15 teams eligible to move down then all 15 move down, and the 15 teams in class 1 with the highest winning percentage would move up.
    • You could even bump teams up and down based on winning percentage.   After 2 years, teams with a .750 or higher would have to move up a class with the cap still being 125 teams per class. Teams with the highest winning percentage above .750 would move up first and so on.    Same with winning percentages of .250 or worse. They would move down with the worst percentages moving down first
    • If you cut the classes to 4, that’s 125 teams each class. 500 teams. The rest are independent SSAC teams etc.    125 teams divided into 16 districts is 7-8 teams per district. No issue. Travel and scheduling would be easy breezy. Most games would be local and keep the rivalries fresh.    Playoffs would be an animal. The districts would be so big, and the classes so small that it would be highly unlikely that a garbage team makes the playoffs. Maybe one here or there but nothing like it is now.    Classify by enrollment. Maybe multiply privates by 1.5.    Let’s figure it out
