Dillard makes it’s first NATiONAL debut @ #95 for The First time in over 20 Years!!

This Dillard High Football team has manage to do something NO! Dillard high football squad has done in over 20 years , which is become nationally ranked.

as many of you all know I have been Dillards biggest & most avid supporter and fan on this board & we’ve had a lot of bad seasons & disappointments ; so to see how far we’ve come it brings tears to my eyes. 
 

it’s still a LOOONG season but to be ranked #95 in the ENTIRE nation says a lot about our program, sure it’s NOT Top 10-50 or 100 but dammit DILLARD FOOTBALL is here & we’re BACK. @ColumbiaHighFan2017class @Jullian @VeniceIndiansFootball @muckboy561 @561_Fan @nolebull813 @DarterBlue2

Which ranking service(s) have Dillard ranked in the top 100? Just curious as there are several out there.

Not sure how I fell about the 95 ranking. A good case can be made for it, but the season is young and it could be a bit premature. I guess it depends on how strong, overall, one views the current year's crop of Florida teams on the National level.

Bear in mind, though, that national rankings at the high school level are highly subjective due to the fact that there are insufficient games between quality teams from different states to make a strong assessment.

Maxpreps, & I believe it’s off of what Dillard has done over time aka the last 3 years add that theyre on a 25 regular season win streak that dates back to 2018 and str8 blew out a 8A power house who many picked not only to beat Dillard but potentially go all the way. 
granted rankings have no baring on how a season can turn out but to be recognized as a national power house knowing what our program has been through is a lot to be proud of.

I thought Dillard been in the top 100 already?. And madison been there few times. Also madison has real nice houses on hills and land for miles with gates.

Oh yeah, they've been around for a while.  Some things are spot on, some things are way off as with any site.  It is fun to project matchups though.

I honestly can't answer that question.  In all my years, I've never used Maxpreps for anything so I wouldn't be able to give a fair assessment.  However, based on the fact that they can't get schedules correct, I wouldn't put too much stock in that.  However, I'll also say go with the site that has you rated the highest, real talk.  It always looks better at the end of the season.

Panthers will get 1 shot during the regular season , to jump up in those polls. Yep u know. STA. A win will put u in the top 40, a close loss will improve your ranking by 10. But first beat Cooper City.....lol

I believe Maxpreps took their rankings off of Calpreps Ratings. CP uses ratings instead of rankings. CP also has a more in-depth rating system than others. CP does tend to rate California teams higher though.

One thing Calpreps use to do was have composite rankings from all the sites on their site.  Maybe I'm overlooking it or maybe they discontinued that option.  I have my crazy days but I know I'm not crazy about this.    If you remember or find it, chime in!

I think they stopped that a few years back. Not sure...
