Where is game #10 for Plant?

This is a BIG BURNING QUESTION.

 

Who is Plant playing for game #10 this year? Week's 1 & 11 are in the hold pattern waiting to see which slot gets game #10.

 

I have been told they were possibly getting an OOS game, but I haven't been able to put my finger full on it if this is true. 

 

At this point you have to figure they would have something on the schedule considering practices start in less than one month and we are less than two months out from the regular season starting. 

 

Hopefully the mystery ends pretty soon!

Yeah first game but it is a preseason game....I looked even at MaxPreps and they are playing Plant on preseason week. Just happens to be that Fox Sports Florida is going to carry the game. Too bad it wont count.

Plant is playing week 1 in Georgia. Week 10 is a bye

Manatee's in 8A now, much tougher route with DP, Apopka, & Plant in the same region now. 

as for Plant, perhaps OOS would be fit since the only team i see with a WK 10 slot is First Academy.

Perhaps so, but whoever escapes 8A North to get to Orlando is more than an gauntlet itself, the favorite is up there, I think Apopka is that team for now, but that's not saying one of them can take APK out, or the south region champ in Orlando.  The Favorite in 7A, 6A, 4A is in the south.

      My opinion is any team that recruits talent from other teams should be in the open division.  It doesn't matter if you are public or private.  Once you start putting together all-star teams, your mission is different than the rest of us and you need to play against other teams with similar philosophies of acquiring players from other teams.  If the First Academy, for example, recruits a completely new team of elite prospects every year, their mission is to showcase the talent for colleges.  Great, go play against other like-minded teams like Venice, Chaminade, MNW, AHP, STA etc.  Similarly, a team like West Boca, who is new money in this sport, doesn't have a *single starter* that actually attends WBHS.  How is that possibly in the spirit of what HS fair play sports is about?  Put them all in the same division and be done with it.

      Do this suppose to be in the Broward vs USA classics ? If so dillard is paying nothing to be apart of that. Also dillard is gonna be loaded this year. Secondly we duck smoke from nobody. We've played the national ranked chaminades,miami central,American heritage & sta all within the last 3 years. & were (2-0) in our last two OOS games. Against top 5 teams from said state. With that said if the rumors are true I like it.  Last year it was easy schedule this,fools gold that, "oh in order for Dillard to know how good they really are & to prepare themselves for the playoffs they need to play great competition, so aye lets get it.
