The flying L’s Are Talking MAAAAD trash already, being that they won their district the flying L’s will be hoisting my (9-1) Dillard panthers.

as Dillard looks forward to a deep playoff run in unfamiliar territory “AS A WILDCARD TEAM” but aye we ready, LETSSS GOOOO DILLARD. @VeniceIndiansFootball @Jullian @DarterBlue2

It’s the best side of the bracket! Good first game to get the Panthers ready, then a probable trip to Homestead which will b a battle!

I’m going to be rooting for south broward lol who would’ve thought because if they can pull of the win then we would host them in round 2.

Miramar is really good tho they’re defense gonna keep them in the game vs STA watch

They have a pretty decent history of upsetting Aquinas. They’ll beat the Pats the same way they beat Dillard: Special teams.

I have no dog in this fight.  However, I expect the Lying L's to have a quick 1st round seat.:D

And here is your trap game. Dillard should win this match comfortably, but Fort Lauderdale is a tough team and I believe they run the triple option offense which could give Dillard some trouble early. The Defensive line for Dillard should be ok. The Panthers will smother them up front and get pressure on FL’s QB which will put them into position to win the ballgame. But if Lauderdale comes out and runs trick plays early it could give them a shot at pulling the upset. Good luck to your Panthers sir. All I will say in summation is this: don’t let the Flying L’s stick around if the game is close. You guys have to drop the hammer when possible to break the score open, because if they don’t it may come back to bite them. Go Panthers!

I agree but we’ve played FT LAUDERDALE the last 2 years & have beaten them by over 20 both times.

but each year is diff so it’s money time now win or go home so like I told our OC today we got unfinished business let’s NOT play with these people bust they ass from opening tip.

I agree man, all I’m saying is don’t take the Flying L’s lightly. On any given Friday any strange thing could happen on the field. It’s just the game of football. With that being said, Dillard 45 Lauderdale 10. Best of luck!

    • Yeah in the 70’s-90’s the debate will most likely be between the top 2 largest class state champs
    • 1976 - Godby HS went 14-0, defeated ledgendary Gene Cox, Leon Lions for the 1st time in school history in its last game of the regular season. Beat a Carol City Team, (that would come back the next year to win the 1977 state title), 21-15 in Lakeland, FL for the 1976 4A title. Two members of that Godby team (Sammy Knight, Chris Hobbs) would then lead FAMU to a upset win over the University of Miami. 1978 - Meritt Island - Beat Carl Madison coached (going to see the name Carl Madison alot through out the 80's),Pine Forrest for the 4A state Title 20-16 and would go on to be repeat state champs winning the 1979 state 4A state title as well, seeing Pine Forrest once again in the Finals 1979 - Merritt Island - Beat Pine Forrest 19-14 1980 - Argument could be made that 3A state Champ Gainesville HS was the states best, as they defeated Titusville on Titusville's home field 21-15, but in the end Carl Madison's (who we'll talk about again in the 80's), Tate HS has to be considered the state best destorying Miami Columbus HS 35-7! 1981 - Again 3A would again have to be where the state's best team played. Palatka after struggling in its 1st round game went on to dominate evenutally winning the state title 42-2 over Suncoast. Unlike Vero Beach (which won the 4A state itle that year), Palatka was loaded with star power, with 2 of its players eventually playing in the NFL (John L Williams, and Jarvis Williams) 1982 - Going 3A once again as Titusville would shutout 3 of its 4 playoff opponents, winning the state title over Osceola 33-0 1983 - 4A Manatee High School goes 14-0 for its 1st state title and the beginning of a dynasty through out the 80's and into the early 90's   more later.......
    • Congratulations Jambun!  That is a great honor for your Panthers.  Do you own a red tie?
    • Hello MarkECannon, did you notice the Two-Time Defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers visiting the White House and presenting the Great President Trump with rings, a stick, and a #47 Jersey?! A Great Team and a Great President make for a GREAT event!
