The Skinny

It is year two for flag football in Dade County and if you are looking for a district where parity is showing up, this is that district. Last year, Miami High, which won the district and the GMAC Tournament title, slipped a bit this season, taking the No. 3 seed in the district. Coral Gables has been quite impressive though, easily cruising through the district before finally suffering their first lost of the season to Miami Edison during the GMAC tournament. Southwest Miami and Braddock are both darkhorses in the tournament as either one could find a way to potential keep the Cavaliers out of the regional playoffs.
