Lennard opened up the season with a shutout victory over the host Mustangs on the road led by Abby Elwell’s four passing touchdowns … Kyah Vance scored two of Elwell’s four touchdowns while Grayce Bird and Emma Balacoo each had a touchdown reception as well … The Longhorns will return to action in just under two weeks with Hillsborough County’s spring break scheduled for next week.

Timber Creek got win No. 1 on the season after their first game of the season on Tuesday night was postponed by weather issues … Kian Hugh threw for four touchdown passes in the game connecting with Analyse Rios, Sarah Duque, Jasmine Cheema, and Julia Frederico each on the receiving end of one of the touchdown passes … Ayanna Dixon also had a receiving touchdown from Duque while both Dixon and Duque had interception returns for TD … Ava Jessum led the in sacks with three.
