With the 2025 Florida Girls Flag Football season now in the books, there is some post-season recognition to come for those from around the state over the coming weeks. One of those recognitions is something big that started four years ago in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars with their Jaguars PREP outreach of the Jacksonville Jaguars Community Foundation and FloridaHSFootball.com in helping select the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team with 25 of the top athletes selected this year from across 17 different programs in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ market. This marks the biggest representation of schools which coincides with the growth the sport has had over the last few seasons. We will profile each of the 25 athletes and their accomplishments for the season along with Coach of the Year and the Player of the Year for 2025.
All athletes were recognized at the Jaguars All-PREP 25 recognition event at the Academy Sports + Outdoors location on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 with each athlete receiving a customized Jacksonville Jaguars jersey with their name and number on it, along with swag box filled with amazing swag and had a $200 shopping spree to use for themselves and their moms for Mother’s Day along with having their photos taken with Jaguars DB Tyson Campbell, the Jaguars 2021 Second Round NFL Draft Pick who played high school football at American Heritage (Plantation) and was a First Team All-State selection on FloridaHSFootball.com’s Class 5A All-State Football Teams.

2025 SEASON NOTES: Paola came on to the scene last year and made a name for herself which transitioned into her senior year in 2025, earning her second honor as a member of the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team. Defensively, Paola still recorded 10 interceptions along with six pass deflections and 72 flag pulls while on offense she contributed to 59 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns, 65 carries for 543 yards and seven touchdowns and throwing for 326 yards on 42-of-70 passing completions. Paola is was one of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ nominees for the 2025 NFL Latino Youth Honors Awards and subsequently selected as nationwide finalist for the 2025 NFL Latino Youth Honors Awards which granted her a $5,000 scholarship and two-tickets to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Cruz is taking her flag football talents on to the college level having committed to Jeff Melesky’s Webber International program in Webber Park, Florida. Congratulations to Paola for being named to the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team for the 2025 Girls Flag Football season!
