It appears it was family that is the main reason for Chad Grabowski to take the head coaching job at Red Bank High in Tennessee, just outside of Chattanooga.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Grabowski, who played high school football at nearby Tavares, is moving up to Tennessee to be closer to family in South Carolina and his wife’s family in Georgia.
The Mount Dora job will be advertised starting tomorrow the reports states.
Grabowski was 33-20 during his tenure with Mount Dora, which was his first head coaching job.
Mount Dora posted a 6-4 record in 2013, just missing the Class 5A playoffs.

Mount Dora will be on the hunt for its next head coach as the man who turned the program around over the last five years is leaving.
Chad Grabowski was hired earlier today to take over a struggling Red Bank High program in Tennessee, the Chattanooga Times-Free Press has reported.
Grabowski was selected among 50 candidates that applied for the job.
Grabowski told the Times-Free Press that he sees a lot of similarities in between the programs and communities in regards to Mount Dora and Red Bank.
“I know they have a great tradition and high expectations there and I’m looking forward to getting things back on track.”

As of right now no posting of the open position has been made for Mount Dora on the FHSAA classifieds.
