DISTRICT 2A-1
Clinched Playoff Berth: FAMU, 0-0; North Florida Christian, 0-0
Still Alive: None
Still Alive, But Needs Help: None
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: This is district will not be decided until Week 10, but things are clear that North Florida Christian is the more dominant team in this district, sporting a 5-0 record, while FAMU has struggled this season and has been inconsistent in playing, despite finally breaking into the win column in the last couple of weeks.

In The Driver’s Seat: Cedar Creek Christian, 2-0, Harvest Community, 1-0; University Christian, 1-0
Still Alive: None
Still Alive, But Needs Help: Duval Charter, 0-2; Eagle’s View, 0-2
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: University Christian is still consider the major favorite of the district, but there is some heat brewing with Cedar Creek Christian and Harvest Community having success as well on the field. Overall, expect the last few weeks of this district to literally come down to these three battling it out for the two playoff spots.

In The Driver’s Seat: Warner Christian, 1-0
Still Alive: St. Edward’s, 0-0; Trinity Christian (Deltona), 0-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: None
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: Warner Christian is looking like a state title contender once again and should easily win out the district. St. Edward’s looking quite well and should be a playoff contender as a district runner-up with Trinity Christian (Deltona) trying to find its way with the season not going as well as they have done in years past.
SCENARIOS FOR WEEK 7
Warner Christian can win District 2A-3 Championship with a win over St. Edward’s
DISTRICT 2A-4
In The Driver’s Seat: Victory Christian, 1-0
Still Alive: Foundation Academy, 0-0; Agape Christian, 0-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: None
Eliminated: No
Quick Analysis: Victory Christian is looking a lot better this season and is in control of the district – for the moment. However Foundation Academy has been having success and still could win the district depending on game play in the two district games they have not yet played. Agape Christian hasn’t won a game yet and we are not sure if they will pull off a victory in 2013.

In The Driver’s Seat: Indian Rocks Christian, 3-0
Still Alive: Cambridge, 2-1; Canterbury (St. Petersburg), 2-1; Carrollwood Day, 1-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: Bradenton Christian, 1-2; Northside Christian, 0-2; Keswick Christian, 0-2
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: This district has played out much differently than we expected and we should have read more into Indian Rocks Christian’s chances of being a favorite in the district, but needless to say there are still three other teams that are vying for the two playoff spots so this race is clearly not settled. While three teams are in the needs help category is possible none could get eliminated this week if the lose due to the dynamics of this district.

In The Driver’s Seat: Moore Haven, 3-0; First Baptist (Naples), 2-0
Still Alive: Southwest Florida Christian, 2-1; St. John Neumann, 2-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: Evangelical Christian, 0-2; Marco Island Academy, 0-2
Eliminated: Imagine School (North Port), 0-3
Quick Analysis: This is district is shaping up to pretty much what we thought with Moore Haven and First Baptist in control. We are not surprised St. John Neumann is in the thick of the playoff hunt, but we are totally surprised by Southwest Florida Christian being right in it, but the success they are having warrants them here. Nonetheless this district will have some fun going down the backstretch.

In The Driver’s Seat: Glades Day, 2-0
Still Alive: Village Academy, 1-1; Boca Raton Christian, 0-1; Jupiter Christian, 0-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: None
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: It is no surprise that Glades Day is the leader here in this district with Village Academy following right behind as we expected. However, Boca Raton Christian is in the role of a darkhorse right now and could spoil any chances of Glades Day of winning the district in Week 8. It should be fun to see what happens.

In The Driver’s Seat: Champagnat, 2-0, Barrington Christian, 1-0
Still Alive: Dade Christian, 1-1; Highlands Christian, 0-1
Still Alive, But Needs Help: Coral Springs Christian, 0-2
Eliminated: None
Quick Analysis: Champagnat who? That is what some are saying this year and rightfully so Champagnat has earned a lot of respect with their undefeated overall record and district record. Already having beaten the Class 2A runner-up from 2012, things look favorable for district championship, but other teams in the district are hoping to derail this plan. If anything things will start to shake out starting next as to who is for really real and who is not.
