Each week during the season we update the Top 25 rankings in Class 2A providing our Top 10 teams as well as provide The Next 15 teams that we have ranked to complete the Top 25 rankings. Information used to determine the rankings include record, quality wins, defeating ranked opponents and strength of schedule (after Week 1). It is important that teams update their information with scores with us on a regular basis each week by emailing us score reports at flag@floridahsfootball.com, sending us a direct message on Twitter @FlaHSFootball or updating scores in the ScoreStream app. Lack of information (scores) reported by the teams will only hurt their chances of being ranked, especially if they are having a solid season.
THE TOP 10
1. Riverview (Riverview)
Record: 3-0
Last Week: 5
NOTE: Riverview is starting to take shape to be the best team in Class 2A right now and they are moving forward quickly on all cylinders. Sharks will have this week off for spring break before returning to action.
2. Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee)
Record: 2-0
Last Week: 2
NOTE: It was a tough decision to consider moving Seminole Ridge automatically up to No. 1, but with results of the first two games coming in at just an average rating and looking at strength of schedule so far is not fully supporting a move to No. 1 at this time. Hawks will have this week off for spring break before returning to action.
3. Wekiva (Apopka)
Record: 3-0
Last Week: 3
NOTE: The Mustangs are rolling right now and will hold at No. 3 for now as they take off this next week for Spring Break before returning to action on the grid.
4. Cooper City
Record: 4-0
Last Week: 4
NOTE:The Cowboys are rolling along with things and will take on Hollywood Hills and Coral Springs before heading into spring break next week.
5. Steinbrenner (Lutz)
Record:4-0
Last Week: 8
NOTE: This is a team on the move up here and the Warriors jump over Alonso thanks to their win over previous No. 23 Plant which is the same team that beat previous No. 1 Alonso last week. Steinbrenner has this week off for spring break before returning to the field next week.
6. Alonso (Tampa)
Record:1-2
Last Week:1
NOTE: Last week was not a solid week for the defending state champions, dropping a district contest to previous No. 23 Plant while also dropping a 12-0 decision to Robinson in the battle of the state champions. Alonso will have this week off for spring break before returning to action next week.
7. Jupiter
Record: 2-0
Last Week: 7
NOTE: The Warriors took care of business against Wellington this past week to remain undefeated on the season. They will return to the field next week after spring break this week.

Record: 4-0
Last Week: 12
NOTE: The Cobras are the new entrant into the Top 10 this week and have been relentless on the field shutting down any team that crosses their path. They will have this week off for spring break before returning to the field next week.
