Nine weeks are in the books for the 2021 Florida high school football season and the FHSAA has released their latest look at the RPI football playoff rankings as we head into Week 10 of the season.
As such this update provides the entire state a glimpse of what the potential playoff matchups could be looking like come the second week of November, but remember things change, as we still have three weeks worth of games (including this week) to go, however, the playoff picture is starting to become much more clearer with few games left.
In Classes 5A-8A, district record was taken into consideration except on certain exceptions which are noted.
For Class 4A, you will find a breakdown of RPI rankings for each team in every region and a projected seeding (including tiebreakers) based upon the guidelines as published by the FHSAA (click here to view), as well as quick thoughts about each region.

No. 1 Bolles – BYE
No. 5 Marianna vs. No. 4 Andrew Jackson
No. 6 West Nassau vs. No. 3 Baldwin
No. 2 South Walton – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: Despite the loss last week to Buchholz, Bolles still keeps on top with the No. 1 seed while Andrew Jackson who is No. 4 keeps looking to find a way to get the No. 3 seed away from Baldwin, a team who they beat on the field head-to-head. But overall, nothing has changed in the region this week.

Rank | Team | Record | RPI |
1 | Cocoa | 6-1 | 0.765 |

QUICK THOUGHTS: Changes this week including The Villages moving up to the No. 2 seed while Keystone Heights falls to the No. 3 seed. South Sumter has moved up to the No. 5 seeds while Umatilla shifts to the No. 6 seed. Overall, the teams seen here are likely the teams to represent Region 2 in the playoffs.

No. 1 Lakewood – BYE
No. 5 Glades Central vs. No. 4 American Heritage (Delray)
No. 6 Tenoroc vs. No. 3 Clewiston
No. 2 Lemon Bay – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: Biggest change this week comes with the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds as Lemon Bay flips to the No. 2 seed after Clewiston took their second straight loss pushing them down to the No. 3 seed. Everything else remains the same in the region, but watch out for Somerset Canyons who is at No. 7 and is close to the No. 6 spot held by Tenoroc.

1 | Cardinal Gibbons | 6-2 | 0.705 |
2 | Gulliver Prep | 5-1 | 0.704 |
3 | Immaculata-LaSalle | 8-0 | 0.695 |
4 | Coral Springs Charter | 5-2 | 0.535 |
5 | Monsignor Pace | 4-4 | 0.528 |
6 | Booker T. Washington (Miami) | 4-5 | 0.526 |
7 | Calvary Christian (Fort Lauderdale) | 4-4 | 0.524 |
8 | Pine Crest | 3-4 | 0.519 |
9 | Miami Carol City | 2-6 | 0.455 |

No. 1 Cardinal Gibbons – BYE
No. 5 Monsignor Pace vs. No. 4 Coral Springs Charter
No. 6 Booker T. Washington vs. No. 3 Immaculata-LaSalle
No. 2 Gulliver Prep – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: Thanks to Cardinal Gibbons’ stunning defeat of Venice last week, the Chiefs have vaulted to the No. 1 spot in Region 4 by just a hair over Gulliver Prep who saw their scheduled game with Miami Palmetto canceled for the second time this season. With that Immaculata-LaSalle slides to No. 3 while Coral Springs Charter moves up to No. 4 and Monsignor Pace jumps to No. 5 in the region while Calvary Christian slides back to No. 7.
