Season Outlook: With finally getting back on top and winning the Class 3A State Championship in 2021 after losing it in 2020 in a tight battle will be a favorite in Class 1M to win it all again this year. That comes with the potential chance of a rematch possibly for the state championship with Jacksonville Trinity Christian which is another team considered a favorite in Class 1M. The biggest strength for the Lions this year will be the fact nine of the 11 starters on offense will be back and that will help greatly to score points in games. However, the area of concern could be – at least at the start – will be the defense with only three starters returning. But with that said, the Lions will not struggle in the least bit but may have some growing pains to handle quickly as they have gained quite a few position players during the offseason with transfers. Expect to see Chaminade-Madonna in the state championship game come December.
