Congratulations to Rodney Hill of Flagler Palm Coast High School for being voted the scoutSMART Florida Player of the Week for October 24-30th!
The 5-foot-11 205 lb junior linebacker and running back is an absolute powerhouse. Hill was nominated for his outstanding performance against Nease High School on October 14, 2022, where he had a 98-yard interception return in the fourth quarter as the team rose victorious and advanced to the playoffs. Hill already has 99 tackles and 4 sacks this season.
Hill is a dynamic, explosive, fast, and smart player who works both sides of the ball with precision and skill. The 4-star talent is both a team player and a playmaker with great intuition. In 2022, he was named the MVP of the Under Armour All-American Camp Series stop in Miami.
He is an impressive recruit with a 3.1 GPA and 13 offers so far from programs including the University of Tennessee, Wake Forest University, Georgia Southern, University of Pittsburgh, University of Rhode Island, University of Central Florida, and Florida Atlantic University.
As we continue to watch the Flagler Palm Bulldogs and Hill compete this season we are excited to see where his football career will take him.
