GAINESVILLE, Fla. & FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – FHSAA football state championship games are returning to cable television for the first time in a while and for the first time in over a decade as the Florida High School Athletic Association has dialed up an old partner of the past with Bally Sports Florida, previously known as FOX Sports Florida to air all nine state championship games next month.

Bally Sports Florida will air all nine state championship games on its two network channels, Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Sun and on their corresponding Bally Sports app and at BallySports.com, the FHSAA announced in a press release today.

The FHSAA Football State Championships are set for Thursday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 9 at Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium, on the campus of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. Games are scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. each day, with the specific classification matchups to be announced at a later date.

“Florida is the hotbed for the best high school football talent, and we’re thrilled to showcase the top teams and student-athletes from across the state on Bally Sports through this new partnership with the FHSAA,” said Steve Tello, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Sun in the press release.

“We are thrilled to announce our exciting partnership with Bally Sports for the broadcasting of the FHSAA Football State Championships,” said Craig Damon, Executive Director of the Florida High School Athletic Association. “Bally Sports shares our commitment to showcasing the talents and dedication of young athletes, and together, we look forward to creating unforgettable moments for fans and student-athletes across the state.”

Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Sun are available to viewers through a number of major cable, satellite and streaming providers throughout the state. Fans can see options in their zip code at GetMyHomeTeams.com.

Viewers across Florida can also access the streaming coverage by logging into the Bally Sports app or BallySports.com and authenticating through a pay-TV provider that carries Bally Sports, or by subscribing to Bally Sports+, a streaming service within the app that gives local fans direct access to their favorite hometown teams and events. Fans who subscribe to either Bally Sports Florida or Bally Sports Sun through Bally Sports+ will receive access to all of the high school football championship games.

Bally Sports+ subscribers can also stream the network’s other programming in their local area. Bally Sports Sun is the network home of the Miami HEAT, Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays. Bally Sports Florida is the network home of the Orlando Magic, Florida Panthers and Miami Marlins and also broadcasts weekly Miami Dolphins programming.
