Brielle Jackson led the Buccaneers to their first win of the season over Deltona with four total touchdowns. in her first start after transferring from Seabreeze during the offseason. Jackson went 22-of-35 passing for 217 yards and three touchdowns along with the one rushing touchdown. Kiera Williams led the defense with eight flag pulls and four sacks while Clinque Maddox had five flag pulls and two sacks. – Box score provided by Mainland assistant coach Noah Weigand

St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) 43, Somerset Academy Central Miramar 0
The Raiders were led by Stella Gutierrez’s five first-half passing touchdowns and never looked back as they took Warriors to task. Sherice Newton and Mama Varhalmi each had two touchdowns while Kymora Marley and Sophia Naasca each had a touchdown. Talia Harriott, Mia Chang and Samantha Bishop each led the Raiders defense with one interception each.
DeLand 6, Spruce Creek 0
In what could be the biggest upset of the night, DeLand stunned last year’s regional finalist Spruce Creek to open the season thanks to Kenna Harkness’s one touchdown pass to Tasha Williams which proved to be the only score of the game. Harkness finished the game 7-of-13 passing for 110 yards. Desi Lemay and Dejah Mitchell each had a sack on defense while Lemay finished with three flag pulls while Mitchell recorded two flag pulls for the Bulldogs.
Western (David) 35, Deerfield Beach 0
The WIldcats opened their season at home with a thrashing of the visiting Bucks led by AnaBella Puccio going 13-of-22 passing for 169 yards and three touchdowns while also adding one score on the ground. Kailyn Echevarria was the leading receiver for the Wildcats with 65 yards while Paola Almodovar led the team on defense with three flag pulls while Lauren Holschauer had an interception.

Going on the road to open the season, the Falcons got an impressive showing from Lizzie Fitzwater who had one rushing and one receiving touchdown to led the team in scoring. Amaya Pablo got things going for the Patriots with 231 yards passing and three touchdowns while adding 45 yards rushing. Emma Sutton had 63 yards receiving on five catches and two touchdowns, while Aisley Shields had a 64 yards receiving and a touchdown. Sutton also recorded two sacks for the Patriots while Shields and Emily Neal each had a touchdown in the victory over the Wildcats.

The Eagles moved to 2-0 on the season behind a combined four passing touchdowns from Payton Carter and Cloe Rich by drubbing the visiting Aggies. Layla Hughes led the team in receiving with 7 catches for 107 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Airianna Jerz led the Eagles with seven flag pulls on defense while Hughes intercepted three passes.

Park Vista (Lake Worth) 45, Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach) 0
Getting the season going for the Cobras, Jordana Well had a huge night, going 32-of-40 passing for 242 yards and five touchdowns to lead Park Vista to victory. Gia D’Arrigo lead the Cobras defensively with six flag pulls, two sacks and an interception.
Somerset Canyons (Boynton Beach) 37, Pahokee 0
Ava Wotipka started off her freshman season with 185 yards passing on 9-of-11 completions along five touchdowns to led the Cougars easily past the Blue Devils on the road. Jayda Simmons led the team with receiving with six catches for 138 yards and three touchdowns. Cameron Celce led the team on defense with five flag pulls and two sacks while Julissa Vaden had two interceptions.

Trinity Catholic (Ocala) 24, Keystone Heights 7
The Celtics opened the season with a victory over the Indians led by Madison Boyd’s 182 yards passing and four touchdowns to get the Celtics the win. Boyd also added 38 yards rushing while McKenna Yates led in receiving with 59 yards on four catches and two touchdowns. Heaven Sanders recorded three sacks along with five flag pulls and a pass deselection to lead the defense for the Celtics.

Sandalwood (Jacksonville) 24, Baldwin 20
The Saints emerged victorious over a tough Indians squad thanks to Kirsten Gudmalin’s two rushing touchdowns to get the season started. Gudmalin finished the game with five carries for 65 yards. For Baldwin, Charlotte Minnon had a strong game with 213 yards passing and three touchdowns. while Karea Blackshear led the team with five flag pulls.
Lincoln Park Academy (Fort Pierce) 47, Morningside Academy (Port St. Lucie) 0
The Greyhounds started their season off with a convincing victory over the Eagles led by Leah Murphy’s 136 yards passing and three touchdowns. Kathryn Kinzer scored a rushing touchdown while Iris Vargas led the team in receiving with 51 yards and a touchdowns. Emma Ware who is only a seventh grader recorded three sacks for the Greyhounds as Labels Cornett and Kylah Tiger each had two interceptions each.
Crescent City 13, Atlantic (Port Orange) 12
The Raiders finally got over the hump against a team that has had their number of the last few years as the Raiders as Kirabella Williams threw the game winning score to Alyssa Hormsobath while a group of defenders blocked Atlantic to keep the tying extra-point out of the end zone. Williams went 9-of-15 passing for 93 yards and two scores while rushing for 82 yards. – Info via Corey Davis, Palatka Daily News

Serenity Simonette led with 139 yards passing and a touchdown along with two rushing touchdowns and 41 yards to help guided the Titans to their first victory of the season. Leahna Lily led the defense with three sacks along with three flag pulls while three interceptions were also recorded by the defense.
AIE Academy (Miami Springs) 13, Jewish Culture (Miami) 6
The Aviators edged out the Lions at home on Tuesday afternoon with Jenny Perez throwing for a touchdown while Samantha Ayerdis had 24 carries for 81 yards rushing a touchdown along with three catches for 50 yards and a score.
Santa Fe (Alachua) 36, St. John Lutheran (Ocala) 0
After scoring zero points in their first season as a program in 2023, the Raiders are on the move as they scored their first regular season points as a program to open the season. This comes on the heels of their performance at the 2024 Jaguars PREP Girls Flag Football Preseason Classic in Jacksonville.

Makayla Severson led the Explorers with 12 points thanks to two rushing touchdowns in the victory over the visiting Red Devils on Tuesday to give Ridgeview Global their first win of the season. Leiah Rakowski, Leeani Arroyo and Annabella DeFranco each had an interception on defense.
