WHO: Miramar (8A-12) at Lake Wales (5A-11)
WHEN: Friday, May 24
WHERE: Legion Field, Lake Wales
WHY: Miramar is packing the bus and taking it to Polk County this year for its first spring football game outside of intrasquad in recent years and it will not be a cupcake of a challenge either. Taking on one of top teams in Polk County in the name of Lake Wales, the Patriots will use this game to figure out just what they have to work with and what they will need to work on. For Lake Wales, they will be taking on a challenge from one of top 8A teams in the last few years, one which has won them a state championship in 2009. The Highlanders which disappointed a lot during the season, but made a considerable run into the playoffs despite this fact. Both teams have some notable talent that is rising up and they will get mentioned much more heading into the summer and the regular season. Overall, this a great challenge for both teams that is looking to keep things towards the top.
