GAINESVILLE – After much consideration including some discussion from one of our panel members, Doug Pugh, there will be a change to the release of our next set of team hybrid rankings
After running Strength of Schedule with all the Week 1 games taken into consideration and given some of the unusual results that happened, including weather delays, we could not properly push a new ranking out that ultimately would skew things for a few teams that would push them from the top to almost out of the rankings.
“Ultimately, this not what we had in mind when we launched the Team Hybrid Rankings, but after much consideration and discussion, it was the only direction to go with in order to make sure the rankings are the best for the and are representative of how teams are performing,” said FloridaHSFootball.com Publisher Joshua Wilson.
The next official release of FloridaHSFootball.com’s Team Hybrid rankings will be released on the Tuesday following Week 4, September 20 .
