JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars are seeking nominations to recognize athletes to recognize and celebrate Hispanic and Latino excellence in the and around the NFL community.
The NFL and Hispanic Heritage Foundation have partnered over the last several years to recognize and celebrate Hispanic and Latino excellence whether featuring impactful Latino leaders or recognizing standout youth athletes for their athletic and academic excellence through the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s Youth Awards as part of the two organizations collaborating together to celebrate outstanding Latinos for may years.
As such the Jacksonville Jaguars are seeking nominations that will lead to two youth football athletes one being a male and one being a female from tackle or flag from the Jacksonville Jaguars market to recognized as this year’s honorees from the NFL franchise with potential recognition to come at a game during the 2023 season.
The full list of honorees from around the NFL’s 32 franchises will be recognized by the NFL and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, with a selection of eight finalists receiving scholarship money for college, while being celebrated at a special ceremony during Pro Bowl or Super Bowl week.
To nominate someone from the Jacksonville market, click here to submit that nomination today. The last day to submit nominations is on Friday, August 25.
