Starting this week and through the rest of the 2024 season, we will introduce a new feature here on FloridaHSFootball.com called the Florida Top 25 Player of the Week Poll.

How the Florida Top 25 Player of the Week Poll will work will be based on the teams ranked in our weekly Florida Top 25 rankings each week based on available statistics from MaxPreps or researched through other sources. Athletes will come from mostly Top 25 teams that won that particular week, but depending on the results, some Top 25 teams that lost, especially when going up against other Top 25 teams will be included. Also to not cram the list with too many athletes the quality of the performances are considered when making the final list for the poll.

Winner of the poll will be revealed each Monday with the newest poll going up on Tuesday each week for the remainder of the 2024 season.

While any poll on FloridaHSFootball.com is meant for the enjoyment of fans, teams, parents, athletes and those alike, the use of bots and/or other forms of automated voting are strictly prohibited. In the event that a bot or automated voting has taken place, the athlete in question with the votes will be removed from any FloridaHSFootball.com poll. We reserve the right to cancel and close any poll at anytime due to issues with any poll.
