Gotcha...i remember when Bosco went down there it was a huge game..since that year i just never felt like manatee was talked about the same
Almost the entire coaching staff is has been replaced and it shows.
Manatee will always be a "good" team but not sure how/when they will return to a top 10 national ranking.

Why would they need to assist with travel?
Most of the teams in it already(year after year) have no problem paying to travel to Orlando.....
As for the secondary tourney?
Scedule games within your surrounding counties.

I asked the Supervisor of Athletics in Manatee County this, "I hear tons of rumors about IMG and Manatee making an agreement to NOT recruit Manatee Co. kids or schedule them since back in 2003. Any truth to this?"
Here is Jason Montgomery's statement to me, "I am not aware of either of those. As an FHSAA member school IMG is not allowed to recruit at all just like any other member school."
So, where again is this agreement you spoke about again?

Huh? Are you high? They all started last year. And they are almost all back.
2013 Rush Defense: 3.26 ypr and 124.79 ypg
2015 Rush Defesne: 3.83 ypr and 145.3 ypg
2013 Pass Defense: 5.1 ypp and 156.6 ypg
2015 Pass Defense: 5.6 ypp and 191.6 ypg
2013 Points Allowed: 12.1 ppg
2015 Points Allowed: 17.5 ppg
With almost all of 2015 returning, they could very easily be 2013-esque; they were almost there last year.
Defense won't be the issue this year.
Loaded with talent and experience.
I think we all know the issue will be QB play with Maguire out.

No, they haven't yet so no reason to assist now.
You make the event, you'll find a way to pay your way.

Anything that puts better teams in the playoffs is progress at this point in FL High School Football IMO.
The 2015 Strawberry and Lemon Bays going 8-2 and "earning " the right to play in the postseason while 2015 Coconut Creek and 2015 Northwestern type teams stay home are a problem that should hopefully be fixed for 2017!
I agree after the last couple of years, the games weren't even worth watching.
Take the top 16 or 20 in each class and roll.
Money will always be an issue with traveling.
Maybe even make a seperate tournement as well like the NIT.
Those would be some good games too and allows those teams to get some attention as well.

nobody can play IMG anyway from Manatee County, IMG has agreed to not schedule or recruit players from Manatee County

That's the thing, they don't have to "recruit" athletes.
Athletes will come to them.
Look at Fines from Manatee who left for his sernior year and now at Miami.
YOu can't agree to not schedule someone when those someones have got together and agreed not to schedule you......

Yes they did....didnt help that BC played like absolute crap IMO but hey no excuses...cocoa brought up 30 kids and kicked butt....i have more respect for that school then most i can say that
Cocoa was known to punch you in the mouth on Friday nights.
Either you have a glass or you can weather the storm and BC failed to do that(on that night).
Always love FL vs. NJ games.

Kyshaun Bryan AHP 2017 4* RB transfers to STA. Bryan is arguably the best 2017 RB in Broward.

Not saying I agree but you have to worry about yourself when it comes to your future.
Look at all the kids that have left STA and went onto the pros.......Bosa, Bernard....this list is long(see beliow).
The Jacksonville Jaguars field the most former Raiders with three (Brandon Linder, Rashad Greene and Sam Young). Teams with two players are Atlanta Falcons(Leonard Hankerson, Desmen Southward), Cincinnati Bengals (Geno Atkins, Giovani Bernard), Indianapolis Colts (Phillip Dorsett, Duron Carter, practice squad) and St. Louis Rams(Lamarcus Joiner, Marcus Roberson).
The remaining players are Major Wright (Tampa Bay Bucs), Bobby Hart (New York Giants), James White (New England Patriots), Gabe Holmes (Oakland Raiders), Cody Riggs (Tennessee Titans) and Marcus Gilbert (Pittsburgh Steelers).

Too much talent out of the NJ Area but should be close for the first half.

hopefully Southeast get's back on this list soon and I think they will in the upcoming years and get that Manatee vs Southeast rivalry back were it used to be
The days of SE being a "real" contender are over.
Manatee County has too many schools and with BR on the come up, SE has too many hurdles to over come.

IMG banned from playing any Georgia HS teams after their game with Grayson. This could be a bad trend. But with open transfers in FLA after this year, I say let them compete in an FHSAA district and for a title.
I still think the private schools should be separated.
How does that even make sense?
Allow IMG to complete in FHSAA states but keep private seperate?!?!!?
Please explain your logic.
