STARKE | As reported late yesterday afternoon, Steve Reynolds was named the next head coach at Starke Bradford.
Reynolds, who was born and raised in Starke and played his high school football career at Bradford, becomes the 9th head coach since legendary coach David Hurse retired 1990.
The Gainesville Sun reports that Reynolds, who graduated from Bradford in 2004, said this was the only head coaching job in the entire country he would take.
Reynolds, who is currently the boys weightlifting and girls junior varsity softball coach, will take over for Derek Chipoletti who departed for the Orange Park Oakleaf head coaching job earlier this month.
