The Palm Beach County Sports Commission in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Lou Groza Award watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Lou Groza Award is awarded annually to the best collegiate football kicker in the country.

The Lou Groza Award was established in 1992 by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission for the best place kicker in collegiate football and voted for among Division I football coaches, sports writers and sportscasters across the nation, according to the Lou Groza Award website.

These four Florida HS Football alumni made the watch list and should be commended for their efforts on the field and getting recognized for it.

  • Jack Griffin / FIU / Naples St. John Neumann
