The Tallahassee Quarterback Club  in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Biletnikoff Award watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Biletnikoff Award  is awarded annually to the best receiver in collegiate football in the country.

The Biletnikoff Award was first awarded in 1994 and is named after Fred Biletnikoff, who is a memeber of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, according to a press release from the Tallahassee Quarterback Club. Biletnikoff was a member of the Oakland Raiders and All-American receiver at Florida State University, the press release also stated.

These five Florida HS Football alumni made the watch list and should be commended for their efforts on the field and getting recognized for it.

  • Stedman Bailey / West Virginia / Miramar
  • Andre Debose / Florida / Sanford Seminole
  • Willie Haulstead / Florida State / Titusville
  • Allen Hurns / Miami (FL) / Miami Carol City
  • Conner Vernon / Duke / Miami Gulliver Prep
