2014-141-150-slider

We are counting down the top 150 players in the state as researched, analyzed and complied by FloridaHSFootball.com staff members. While rankings are always subjective and players move up and down the charts, this list is meant to show you the fans who are some of the best players are in the state to keep a solid eye on this season and to see where they might head for their college career. Expect this list to change one more time right before National Signing Day, which will include information from the 2013 season.

Here are players 141-150 on the Florida HS Football Top 150.

141. ATH Kendal Sawyer | 5’11 | 175 | East Lee County
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Sawyer made a name for himself last season and his team winning the district helped provide some much needed exposure.
142. RB Gregory Howell | 6’1 | 200 | Coral Gables
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Likely to be one of South Florida’s well kept secrets, Howell has been having a strong offseason and should have a big year for the Cavaliers.
143. ATH Ra’Shaun Croney | 6’0 | 170 | Pahokee
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Pahokee is way off from its heyday as a powerhouse team, but Croney has been making a name for himself and could help put the Blue Devils get back in the playoffs this season.
144. WR Kendrick Edwards | 6’6 | 190 | Miami Norland
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Edwards will be counted on to help big time in one of the toughest districts in America this season and holds over a dozen offers so far from a variety of FBS schools.
145. CB Devin Abraham | 5’10 | 180 | East Lake
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: South Florida
Abraham is just one of the many Division I prospects that could help push East Lake towards Orlando this year. His father is former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and current Clearwater head coach Donnie Abraham.
146. WR Moral Stephens | 6’4 | 205 | Taylor County
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Stephens can rotate around between wide receiver and tight end and should do a lot more of it this year with the addition of Ladarian Smiley, who transfered from Jefferson County during the offseason.
147. OT Derrick Kelly | 6’6 | 280 | East Gadsden
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Kentucky
Kelly has been a huge force for East Gadsden the last two seasons and should help contribute again to getting the Jaguars another district title.
148. WR Gilbert Johnson | 6’2 | 190 | Homestead
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Georgia
Johnson who just recently transferred will make the Broncos stronger on the offensive side of the ball, which will help considering the district Homestead plays in is one of the toughest in the nation.
149. TE Marcus Mosely | 6’4 | 200 | Alonso
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Mosely started making a name for himself this past season and he could be just one of several different reasons he could put Alonso back into the playoffs in 2013.
150. QB John Wolford | 6’2 | 207 | Bishop Kenny
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Wolford has led his team to the playoffs every single season and was instrumentalist in the Crusaders deepest playoff run in school history last season. He should have a big senior year in production.
