2014-101-110-slider

We are counting down the top 150 players in the state as researched, analyzed and complied by FloridaHSFootball.com staff members. While rankings are always subjective and players move up and down the charts, this list is meant to show you the fans who are some of the best players are in the state to keep a solid eye on this season and to see where they might head for their college career. Expect this list to change one more time right before National Signing Day, which will include information from the 2013 season.

Here are players 101-110 on the Florida HS Football Top 150.

101. QB Peyton Bender | 6’1| 180 | Cardinal Gibbons
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Washington State
Bender had an impressive season last year and had his team playoff bound until a tiebreaker forced them out. However this offseason, Bender particpated in an Elite 11 regional and committed to Washington State back in March.
102. OC Nicholas Linder | 6’1 | 295 | St. Thomas Aquinas
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Miami (FL)
Linder was just one of the strong impressive offensive linemen that helped the now-departed John O’Korn have a big season and helping St. Thomas Aquinas win the Class 7A state title. Linder should have another big season as Aquinas is nationally ranked.
103. CB Ryan Mayes | 6’2 | 180 | Miami Northwestern
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Miami (FL)
Mayes is prepared to take his talents down the road to Coral Gables in 2014, but he is going to be relied upon to anchor the defensive backfield that will need him to catch flying balls that opposing quarterbacks loft up in the air. The ultimate goal this year is to win a state title.
104. WR Adly Enoicy | 6’5 | 205 | Atlantic (Delray Beach)
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Enoicy is receiving attention from a variety of Division I schools including Auburn, Florida State and Mimai (FL), but nothing is really out there as a leader yet. Enoicy contributed a lot last season to his team winning the district and he will be called upon again to help keep the district title within reach.
105. DE Rocel McWilliams | 6’3 | 240 | West Florida Tech
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Was the first of two West Florida Tech players to commit to Missouri, a team that is looking to build up a lot more talent as it builds upon becoming an SEC stronghold. McWilliams was a strong force to keeping defenses from scoring on his team that went undefeated in the regular season last year.
106. RB Trevon Walters | 5’10 | 180 | Manatee
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Walters could see a lot of action in the early part of the season as Manatee gets things going with a new quarterback to replace Cord Sandberg, but look for him to just be a strong part to helping Manatee being a state title contender once again.
107. S Shawn Boone | 5’10 | 185 | Dwyer
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Dwyer, which is known to have tough defenses year-in and year out, Boone makes up one part of the defensive backfield that is working hard this season to win back its district. Schools like Arkansas, Florida State and Maryland are showing interest in Boone.
108. WR Isaiah McKenzie | 5’8 | 160 | American Heritage (Plantation)
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Notre Dame is looking to land this talented receiver after he named them his leader back in June, according to 247Sports.com. Look for McKenzie to build upon the team’s winning ways this year and push towards making a deep playoff run in late November.
109. OG Freddie Booth-Lloyd | 6’2 | 280 | Cocoa
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Undecided
Only holding about 10 offers according to 247Sports.com, Booth-Lloyd has been quietly buiding his name and working hard to keep the offensive line strong. He also can play defensive tackle, something that could help be beneficial during the season for his team.
110. ILB Nico Firios | 6’1 | 225 | Lyman
COLLEGE COMMITMENT: Kentucky
Firios looks to become the first major Division I prospect to emerge from Lyman in several years and the district his team will be in this season will help provide a solid test for him and his teammates on the defense.
