
LAKE CITY – Heading into a crucial week for district play, not too much has changed in the Florida HS Football Media Poll.
The most notable shifts in the Large School Division of the Media Poll included Plant dropping from No. 10 to No. 18 after being upset by Tampa Bay Tech 14-7 in Week 5 action and Lincoln dropping out of the Top 20 after losing to RIckards 43-42 in triple overtime.
While the most notable shifts in the Small School Division of the Media Poll includes Trinity Catholic and University Christian dropping after losing last week, both still remain ranked. The only team to drop out from the division was Frostproof, which was ranked No. 20 last week.
New teams entering the Large Schools Division for the first time this year include South Dade which checks-in at No. 19 while Fort Pierce Central checks in at No. 20. In the Small Schools Division, Lakeland Christian which is sporting the only undefeated record in District 3A-5 checks in at No. 20.
