The Trinity Christian Conquerors of Jacksonville are going road tripping.
The defending 2013 Class 3A State Champion will take its loaded roster, that is made up of no less than six Division I prospects, to Buford, Georgia to open the 2014 season.
First reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and NationalHSFootball.com, the game is already being considered as a possibility to be shown on ESPN.
However, according to NationalHSFootball.com, the contract hasn’t been signed yet, but that does not mean the game is not going to go forward by any means. Buford’s head coach, Jess Simpson, told high school football national analyst Dallas Jackson that communication has been good with Trinity Christian and that Paragon and ESPN have been in regular communication. He does not expect any issues moving forward.

The game getting penciled in on the schedule for Trinity Christian however, comes with another team having to rearrange its preseason plans.
The Conquerors were previously set to host the Columbia Tigers from Lake City in the second year of a two-year contract for the preseason game. Columbia hosted the first year of the contract last season.
Now it appears though that Columbia will benefit from the change in the schedule.
The Tigers are set to host West Orange High School from Winter Garden on Friday, August 22, in what appears to be another decent challenge of two playoff teams looking to build upon impressive 2013 seasons, despite the fact of it not counting on the record.
Trinity Christian was not ranked in the final HSFB100 rankings from last season, but it is highly possible that they will be ranked in the preseason HSFB100 going into the 2014 season, according to Dallas Jackson.
Buford finished the 2013 season ranked No. 47 in the final HSFB100 rankings and also has the potential to be ranked to start the 2014 season.
The official date and time of the game between Trinity Christian and Buford has not been set, but is expected be sometime on the weekend of August 22-24.
