Comment: The Tigers might have won at Gainesville last week, but letting Gainesville hang around to force overtime was not what most were expecting.

Comment: The Colts survived having to play a Saturday morning game against Ocala Forest after having Mother Nature ruin the game under the lights. North Marion won the game 27-10.

4. Suwannee

Comment: Shutout Bradford 38-0 on the road Friday night to get the Bulldogs off to a fast and strong start for the 2014 season.

Comment: The Celtics scheduled game against Montverde never got going on Friday night as Mother Nature laid her claim in the Ocala area.

Comment: Despite the loss to Columbia, the Hurricanes played well enough against the Tigers that it is hard to ignore the effort they gave all the way until the final whistle in overtime.

Comment: The Hurricanes walked out of the game on the last play with the winning score – a pick six touchdown return by the defense.

Comment: The Tigers escaped with a 17-14 win over Lafayette on Friday night after mother nature caused the game to get off to a late start.

Comment: The Bears soundly defeated Taylor County last week and will look to do the same to Jefferson County this week.
