Welcome to the third edition of the Top 25 composite rankings. This will be a new undertaking we will do comparing what the human voters of Florida’s #HSFB Top 25 think to what the computers over at MaxPreps as well what Joe Pinkos’ ratings are showing as the top teams in the state for regardless of classification.

The voting points are simple: 50 points for 1st place vote, 48 points for 2nd place vote and so on all the way to 2 point for a 25th place vote.

One thing to note here is that Independent teams are not considered for ranking in Florida’s #HSFB Top 25. However, MaxPreps doesn’t take into consideration the classification of the team when it comes to their Top 25 in the state of Florida.

The composite rankings will be updated weekly during the season.
