GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Very little change to the Top 25 occurred heading into Week 11 as most teams have wrapped up district play to heading into the playoffs next week.

In fact, so little changed that the Top 10 remains virtually the same from last week with Booker T. Washington (10-0) still holding on to the top spot as they finished the regular season undefeated. The Tornadoes will take their second bye week this week before heading into the playoffs next week.

Rounding out the top five includes Mainland (9-0) at No. 2, Miami Central (9-1) at No. 3, St. Thomas Aquinas (8-1) at No. 4 and Flanagan (10-0), which wrapped its up first undefeated regular season last week sitting at No. 5.

No. 6 is First Coast (9-0), which starts off the back end of the Top 10 in the rankings. Following the Buccaneers is Armwood (9-0) at No.7, Dr. Phillips (9-0) at No. 8, Lakeland (10-0) at No. 9 and East Lake (9-0) rounding off the Top 10.

Manatee (8-1) and Cocoa (8-1) flip flop the No. 13 and No. 14 spots this week while Miami Killian (9-0) and Plant (9-1) flip flop the No. 16 and No. 17 spots.

Two teams undefeated teams are making their first appearance in the Top 25 this season, this week. This includes Hallandale (9-0) which has wrapped up their season after winning their district in a tight battle with Boynton Beach. The Chargers check in at No. 20.

Oakleaf (9-0) which is one game away from their first undefeated regular season in the school’s short five-year history, debuts in the Top 25 at No. 25. The Knights which have on roll since the start of the season have shown they can compete with other top teams in the Jacksonville region so far this season.

Boynton Beach and Monarch, which were both ranked last week, dropped out of the Top 25 after suffering their first losses of the season.

Florida’s HSFB Top 25 is voted on weekly by sportswriters and sportscasters from around the state. Florida’s HSFB Top 25 is the only all-classification poll voted on through out the state during the season by members of the media.
