2015 District Projections: Class 2A, Regions I & II – Districts 1, 2, 3 & 4

District projections for Class 2A – Regions I & II for the 2015 season.

REGION I

District 2A-1
1. North Florida Christian
2. FAMU
3. Maclay

Comment: North Florida Christian is the strongest team in this district and should easily dominate without much issue. FAMU or Maclay could be the district runner-up, but it will be tough for either team to actually find a way to defeat North Florida Christian on the field this season.

District 2A-2
1. University Christian
2. Cedar Creek Christian
3. Harvest Community
4. Eagle’s View

Comment: Univeristy Christian once again looks like the top team in the district and should be able to win the district. Cedar Creek Christian and Harvest Community will battle it out for the runner-up spot, but if Eagle’s View shows any improvement this season, a chance at three-way tiebreaker could be possible.

REGION II

District 2A-3
1. Trinity Christian (Deltona)
2. Warner Christian
3. Halifax Academy

Comment:We are going with a gut feeling that Deltona Trinity Christian will win the district this year as they look to be the team that is best prepared to win it. Warner Christian has had a lot of off season issues including some changes in the schedule as well as the head coach departing. As such, that caused a lot of Warner’s best athletes to transfer to other area schools. Halifax Academy is a newcomer to district play and will round out the district.

District 2A-4
1. Victory Christian
2. Foundation Academy
3. Cornerstone Charter
4. Agape Christian

Comment: Defending Class 2A state champion will easily win the district once again this year, while Foundation Academy and Cornerstone Charter will likely battle it out for the runner-up spot. Agape Christian can’t be discounted out, however, as they have been known to pull last minute upsets in district play.
