– QB Davin Schuck, Columbia – 12 of 24 passing for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns in Columbia’s 57-38 win over Gainesville.
NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA COACH OF THE WEEK
– Kepa Sarduy, Newberry – Led the underdog Panthers to a thrilling 21-12 home victory over arch-rival Santa Fe to open the season.
OTHER PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
– QB Ty Cook, Union County – Threw for over 300 yards and one touchdown in leading the Tigers to a 35-20 win over Hamilton County. (Hamilton County color analyst Ryan Mitchell)
– WR Dallon Washington, Columbia – Had 5 catches for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns in Columbia’s big 57-38 win over rival Gainesville
– WR Tyreee Studivant, Lake Weir – Returned a kickoff for 83 yards for a touchdown and also had a 43 yard touchdown reception in leading the Hurricanes to a 30-25 win road victory over Key West.
– S Monroe Thorton III, Newberry – Had six tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass deflection and 1 interception in Newberry’s 21-12 over arch-rival Santa Fe.
– QB Kobie Jones, Dunnellon – Had 205 total yards and scored on two touchdowns in Dunnellon’s 23-6 win over Crystal River.
– QB Connor Feagle, Forest – Went 10 of 17 passing for 163 yards and three touchdown’s in Forest’s 50-13 rout of rival West Port.
– RB Alonzo Taylor, Vanguard – Rushed for 138 yards on 29 carries and scored one touchdown in Vanguard’s 25-12 win over Palatka
– QB Jackson White, Buchholz – Went 14 of 21 passing for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns in Buchholz’s 48-13 rout of rival Eastside.
– WR Luke Whittemore, Buchholz – 5 receptions for 130 yards receiving and one touchdown in Buchholz’s 48-13 route of rival Eastside.

– ATH Aaron Thomas, Dixie County – 4 receptions for 95 yards and one touchdown, plus one rushing touchdown. Also had a pair of pass breakups and tackles in Dixie County’s 22-14 win over Taylor County.
– Bell Defense, Bell – Head Coach Joey Whittington nominated his entire defense as they held Bronson to 15 total yards for the entire game in a shutout win.
