WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
– QB Nick Sproles, Winter Park – Threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-9 win over Lake Nona.
WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA COACH OF THE WEEK
– Ashour Peera, East Ridge – Peera finally claimed his first win as East Ridge’s head coach, but also snapped a 13-game losing streak dating back to 2013.
OTHER PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
– WR Jaquarius Bargnare, Dr. Phillips – Had 9 receptions for 210 yards and two touchdowns in Dr. Phillips’ 27-0 win over Wekiva. Had touchdown catches of 87 and 70 yards.
– WR Ramon Gordon, Colonial – Had 10 receptions for 154 yards receiving and 1 touchdown while also returning a 90-yard kickoff for touchdown in Colonial’s 20-6 win over Evans.
– RB Devyn Castor, Lake Highland Prep – Rushed for over 200 yards and scored 4 touchdowns in a 59-25 win over Deltona Trinity Christian.
– QB Jared Herrong, Trinity Prep – Threw for 4 touchdowns and rushed for two more in Trinity Prep’s 43-30 win over Clearwater Calvary Christian.
– QB Hayden Rymer, The First Academy (Orlando) – Went 5 of 8 for 114 yards passing and threw 2 touchdown in The First Academy’s 42-32 win over Agape Christian.
– WR Eddie McDoom, West Orange – Had six catches for 137 yards and one touchdown in West Orange’s 45-0 win over Foundation Academy.
– QB Woody Barrett, West Orange – Had 178 passing yards and threw for two touchdowns and added on 128 more yards rushing and one touchdown in West Orange’s 45-0 win over Foundation Academy.
– QB Luke Poorman, Orlando University – Had 182 yards passing and three touchdowns in University’s 28-3 over East River.
– QB Thomas Verdi, Boone – Threw for 219 yards and 3 touchdowns in Boone’s 38-26 loss to Lake Brantley to open the season.
– WR Eugene Clark, Leesburg – Caught 9 passes for 148 yards in Leesburg’s 28-20 loss to South Sumter.
– QB Jesse Fiske, Lake Minneola – 15 of 24 passing for 250 yards and three touchdowns in Lake Minneola’s 30-0 shutout win over Eustis.
– RB Isaiah Rodriguez, Orlando Christian Prep – Rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns in Orlando Christian Prep’s 34-8 win over Merritt Island Christian.
– RB Tirrek Hooten, East Ridge – Rushed 7 times for 211 yards and two touchdowns in East Ridge’s 48-6 win over Cocoa Beach. Only played one half due to score.
– QB besean McCrayar, East Ridge – 5 of 5 on passing for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus 68 yards rushing on 3 carries and one touchdown.
