BROWARD COUNTY REGION PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Flanagan Defense – Was in the Coconut Creek backfield all night in 21-14 win. Recorded nine sacks, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
BROWARD COUNTY COACH OF THE WEEK
Eddie “Rabbit” Brown, Boyd Anderson – Has doubled the team’s win total from last year and has the team already off to a hot 2-0 start.

RB Khalil Herbert, American Heritage (Plantation) – Rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-22 loss to nationally ranked DeMatha Catholic, MD.
RB Jordan Johnson, Plantation – Rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns in 42-15 rout of Blanche Ely.
QB Tyler Huntley, Hallandale – Had 291 yards of total offense and 4 touchdowns in Hallandale’ 41-14 rout of Dillard.
WR/CB Trayvon Mullen, Coconut Creek – Caught three catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in a 21-14 loss to Flanagan.
QB Shabazz Telfort, Boyd Anderson – 16 of 29 for 239 yards passing and three touchdowns in 41-22 win over Douglas.
RB Andrew Parchment, Cypress Bay – Rushed for two touchdowns and caught one pass for a touchdown in a 31-0 shutout of Taravella.
QB Jake Allen, St. Thomas Aquinas – Went 16 of 25 passing for 164 yards and one touchdown in a 48-18 rout of rival Miramar.
