NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
QB Caelan Christian, Gainesville – 183 yards passing and two touchdowns in Gainesville’s 31-26 upset of First Coast.
NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA COACH OF THE WEEK
Mark Latsko, Gainesville – Led his team to a fantastic 31-26 win over a previously ranked First Coast team after suffering a big defeat at rival Columbia the week before.
OTHER PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
QB Steven Anderson, Suwannee – Rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Fort White.
QB N’Kosi Perry, Vangaurd – 10 of 16 for 210 yards and rushed for 30 more yards including one touchdown. Also threw one 2-point conversion pass in a 42-0 win over West Port.
QB Caleb Seiler, North Marion – 9 of 15 passing for 120 yards and one touchdown in a win 35-10 win over Ocala Forest.
WR Freddie Swain, North Marion – 4 catches for 78 yards plus returned an 80-yard punt for a touchdown in North Marion’s 35-10 win over Ocala Forest.
RB D’quandre Dixon, Ocala Christian – 11 carries for 172 yards and scored on three touchdowns in a 45-20 win over Mount Dora Christian.
WR Sean Wiggs, Gainesville – 102 yards receiving on 2 catches and one touchdown in Gainesville’s 31-26 win over First Coast.
QB Nick Oelrich, Newberry – 5 of 6 passing for 122 yards and two touchdowns in Newberry’s 34-14 win over Eastside.
QB Matt Armstrong, Oak Hall – Had one passing touchdown of 70-yards and rushing for three more touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Aucilla Christian.
RB Kamario Bell, Columbia – 185 yards rushing on 19 carries and 1 touchdown in a 23-14 win over Lincoln.
QB Davin Schuck, Columbia – 11 of 21 passing for 171 yards and 1 touchdown in a 23-14 win over Lincoln.
WR/DD Antwan Downs, Lake Weir – 4 catches for 151 yards receiving and 1 touchdown reception. Also had one kickoff return and on defense had 6 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 pass deflections.
DT Cory Durden, Newberry – 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery returned back for a 45-yard touchdown as well had 3 pancakes at left tackle on offense in a 34-14 win over Eastside.
