Top Games
Apopka (3-0) at Dr. Phillips (2-1): Dr. Phillips saw its 35 game regular season winning streak come to abrupt holt last week with a stunning loss to West Orange. Now comes the task of stopping the single wing attack of the Blue Darters, winners of 2 of the last three 8A state titles.
Cocoa (2-1) at Lake Highland Prep (3-0): How will Cocoa handle its first loss of the season to nationally ranked IMG? The Tigers will have to get over it quickly as the Highlanders will be a tough one in the District 5-4A opener for both.
Harmony (3-0) at St. Cloud (2-0): Someone is going to leave Kissimmee still undefeated and in control of District 5-7A, the loser will be still be okay but need to win out to remain alive for the runner up spot.
Osceola (3-0) at Winter Haven (3-0): Charlie Tate and his son quarterback William Tate will have their hands full with a lethal Kowboys defense as well as the Kowboys potent running game.
Wekiva (2-1) at Timber Creek (2-1): Now Jacques Patrick, no problem for the Timberwolves. This one could be a track meet when these two meet up.
West Orange (3-0) at Trinity Christian (3-0): West Orange stunned many by upsetting Dr. Phillips 41-34 to regain the Old Crate back while also ending the Panthers 35 game regular season winning streak. Now the task is trying to stop a Trinity offense that is loaded and can score from any direction. Both are coming off huge wins last week, will there be a letdown for either team?
