Why: Both of these teams didn’t get the 2016 season started off on the right foot last week and both are going to be looking at making things right on Saturday night. American Heritage was dropped very quickly on their own home field by Booker T. Washington which saw the offense get shut out by the Tornadoes for most of the game. Colquitt County saw its 30-game win streak snapped by Mill Creek in a 34-27 lost last Saturday at the Corky Kell Classic in Atlanta. The Packers were quickly out-gained by Mill Creek in the first half which saw the Hawks have possession over the ball for 16 minutes, making things rough for the Packers right out of the gate, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Packers did try to come back for the win late in the game, but it was not meant to be. Given how the season has started for both teams, there is going to be a chance a lot of emotion will be riding high. With this being a national broadcast, both teams are going to be under the microscope. But with that said, the match-up is still one of the best to watch to get the season started.
