It is time for some high school football and we couldn’t be happier that the season is here.
There are some changes in store this year on FloridaHSFootball.com.
- We have scoreboards coming at you from every direction. On the top of every page on FloridaHSFootball.com, you will find a Top 25 Scoreboard, powered by ScoreStream, using Joe Pinkos’ Top 25 Rankings. Also, you will find scoreboards on our main scoreboard page with links to statewide, regional and classification scoreboards.
- Our score tweeting policy on Twitter has changed. Top teams and trending teams will be reported first in regards to scoring updates with other score updates on non-ranked teams coming when feasible. For the most up-to-date scores, we recommend checking out our Scoreboards, but also make sure to follow us on Twitter at @FlaHSFootball and you can tweet score updates to us on Twitter.
- Make sure you download the ScoreStream app on your Android or Apple device. You can post score updates from the games you are at as well as photos and videos live at the game. FloridaHSFootball.com will be looking for the best photos and videos each week to share with fans.
- Also, make sure to follow us on Facebook at Florida HS Football and Instagram at floridahsfootball to see the latest post no matter what social media outlet you are on.
- Nominate players after the games each week for our new Weekly Standouts feature by emailing standouts@floridahsfootball.com. Please include player’s name, school, position and stats in the nomination email.
- Check back often throughout the night for updates including game stories, information rewinds, and other information about your favorite team. Our team of writers and interns are on the ground getting updates for as well as information coming from our partners at USA TODAY High School Sports!
Best of luck to all the teams and to the fans enjoy the 2016 Florida high school football season!
