Is it possible to score 100 points in the first two weeks? Yes.

Is it easy? Not certainly, but depends on who the competition is and just how good (or bad) a team can be.

And despite Hurricane Hermine and the effects she dished out on to the northern part of the state, there was still enough action to warrant looking at who has put up or 100 points in the first two weeks.

Now meet the 10 teams to have scored 100 in the first two weeks and who they defeated in the process.

apopkahelmet-1Apopka (8A-4)
62-7 over 7A Ocoee
78-0 over 7A Edgewater
140 total points
The Skinny: Furry has been unleashed since Apopka lost the preseason opener to 7A Columbia and has scored the most points of any team regardless of classification in the first two weeks.

miamicentralhelmet-1Miami Central (6A-16)
59-14 over 7A East Ridge
55-0 over 8A Miami Killian
114 total points
The Skinny: Miami Central has come out bruising teams so far and as a matter of fact didn’t give up a first down to Miami Killian in Week 2. Another championship team is forming for the Rockets from this standpoint.

calvaryftlhelmet-1Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian (IND)
31-0 over IND Pompano Beach
82-0 over IND Inlet Grove
113 total points
The Skinny: The Eagles went off on Inlet Grove last week dropping one of the highest scoring amounts (82-0) in a game since Naples dropped 91 points on Estero in 2008.

southwestmiamihelmet-1Southwest Miami (8A-15)
70-0 over 8A Miami Coral Park
41-7 over 8A Miami High
111 total points
The Skinny: The Eagles continue to show they are a team not to mess with down in Miami’s District 8A-15 and could see more high scoring output with their remaining eight games.

windermereprephelmet-1Windermere Prep (IND)
55-7 over IND Boca Raton Christian
54-14 over Village School, Texas
109 total points
The Skinny: Windermere Prep is showing it could potentially be one of the best teams this season in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference. The win over a program Texas should be a huge momentum boost for the rest of the schedule.

crestviewhelmet-1Crestview (6A-3)
70-0 over 1A Northview
36-21 over 5A Mosley
106 total points
The Skinny: Two big wins to start the season might just be what is needed to get the Bulldogs running towards a playoff berth for the first time since

universityorangecityhelmet-1Orange City University (8A-2)
42-17 over 6A Deltona
63-26 over 6A New Smyrna Beach
105 total points
The Skinny: RB Lorenzo Lingard is a big reason why the Titans are already over 100 points in the first two games. He had five touchdowns alone against New Smyrna Beach.

cardinalgibbonshelmet-1Cardinal Gibbons (5A-16)
49-0 over 8A Plantation
55-0 over 8A Everglades
104 total points

The Skinny: Two weeks in a row, two Class 8A teams have met the furry of the Chiefs and the first team to meet that furry was a playoff team from last season.

seffnerchristianhelmet-2014-1Seffner Christian (2A-5)
57-34 over 3A St. Petersburg Catholic
47-33 over IND Seven Rivers Christian
104 total points
The Skinny: Talk about some barn burners, this is what Seffner Christian has had to play through the past two weeks to get to 2-0 on the season. But hey they have already scored over 100 in two games.

napleshelmet-1Naples (6A-12)
50-17 over 3A Delray American Heritage
52-19 over 6A Island Coast
102 total points
The Skinny: Naples was thought to be a rebuilding team, but they have proven it is just a reload after the first two weeks in including defeating a previously ranked Delray American Heritage team.

There will be more teams to join the 100 point club in the coming weeks, but these teams got off to the fastest starts to 100 points this season.
