As the playoffs get ready to start this week, here is Publisher Joshua Wilson’s projected bracket for Class 7A.
This one might be plain and simple. I am taking St. Thomas Aquinas over Plant for a variety of reason in the state championship game. Simply look at the schedule and tell me who has the better schedule. I will tell you the Raiders will have it over the Panthers. Robert E. Lee which has had an impressive season is one team I think will take Class 7A North by surprise and at least get to the state semifinals this year, making it one of the Generals teams since Corky Rogers roamed the sidelines of the Jacksonville school. Venice is another team that has state championships dreams, but the path to get to Orlando means going through St. Thomas Aquinas and that makes it tough right there since the game would be in Fort Lauderdale.
